The neck and headstock contours of this guitar are identical in everyway to that of a 1964 Fender Strat. I know because I A/B this with my friends original 64 Fender strat. Nice amber tinted nitrocellulose neck and lacquer  2 piece alder body in Lake Placid Blue. Vintage type magnets with cloth leads (Bacchus TEn, TEb pups ), very clean, neat wiring under the hood. This guitar is rich in tone, fibe and feel. Oh did I mention clay dots, can't forget them, after all how many folks still make the effort to use clay dots or have the skill to place 'em. Check out the period correct spacing at the twelfth fret. The body contour on the lower bout topside is vintage correct as is the screw placement on the pick guard.

If you ever go internet surfing in the Japanese guitar shops and find a Bacchus in the
listings. They always seem to be sold. I personally think they post them after the sale to tease  us guitar players. It's hard navigating the Japanese characters since I know no Japanese but the hyperlink properties are still English. Here is an example of Bacchus pricing:

GAKKI

TONE BLUE

Original Price, no discount was 98,000 Yen or roughly $934.00 US

Bacchus Guitars are handmade by some of the finest luthiers' on the planet. Please note that the decal is not "Fenderish" in design such as to fool the casual glance. This model is not a copy in the sense of the word. The first rate builders at Bacchus intend this as a tribute and dead on replica type instrument to that of a similar guitar built in 1964. A finer made instrument with the accuracy to the original is not to be found easily or duplicated at production level. Click on my pictures to enlarge. Additional comments or information welcome. Also I'm sure the experienced eye has noted the difference in the sanding line
where the rosewood board meets the maple above the nut on the headstock. The curvature is different than a 1962 or 62 reissue. That curve is unique due to the pneumatic sanding technique Fender used at that time (briefly). You will not find any current production neck
available like this. A refin with the appropriate decal and you could be a very bad boy.
