Guitar was ordered by my local Reverend Dealer (for me) just prior to Reverend switching to direct sales.
Started as a Rocco model. Pickups were ordered from tv jones. Tom hand wires pickups for many
notable players, including Brian Setzer and has his own limited release line of handmade guitars as well
as a signature filtertron pickup in the New Jet by Gretsch. He is "the man" if you seek the vintage
vibe and sound of the classic filtertron pickup. The tvtron is Tom's take of a filtertron pickup capable of
fitting a standard humbucker sized space. Be prepared to wait when ordering....

Anyway, this TONE MONSTER is wired VOL TONE; VOL TONE -  Selector Switch for Neck, Neck + Bridge or Bridge.

It was alot of fun to A - B this with my friend Mark's 1955 Duo Jet. I would not try to hype that this sounded better
but it would have made both tv jones and Reverend Musical Instruments PROUD !
Guitar can be quite angry when spanked properly.

Axe is just slightly heavier than the stock six and a half pounds, the tron pups are massive     ;-)

The satin neck has that nice 60's broke in feel, and the medium jumbo frets are butter to bend.
moroccan gold with rosewood fret board.
Only flaw is a slight 1/4 inch long paper thin surface scratch beside the pick guard by the jack.
Grover locking tuners are a marvel, stay in tune for months.
